IMacQuarium

A recent project for "Home and Family" was to turn an old computer into an aquarium. After hours of trial and error, I eventually created one. No goldfish were harmed in the process. Just diving into a project head first, making hundreds of mistakes, is the best way to learn new skills.

  2. Maybe down the line I will. I'll need time to figure out the best way to explain, as it was so unique and custom.

  3. ooh What acrylic "glue" did you use. I had a small tank in high school and created a partition within it using two pieces of acrylic and some "glue" which was sort of like an acrylic "melter" which bonded the two pieces together. I've been looking for it since and everything thinks I'm crazy.

    1. Hi Nettle,
It is Acrylic.I used IPS Weld-On #16 glue, which does in a sense melt and fuse the plastic.

  4. Hi Dave,

    Great post... as always

One thing... did you modify your banner heading on your blog? Seems like a couple of articles (ex. knife and fork) were added recently or did I just catch that now?
