Here's the concept for the Easter Bunny house display. Unlike the Leprechaun tree, the bunny needs a second-story to sleep in. His first floor egg painting workshop takes up a lot of space. There are rumors that underneath the tree, a vast network of tunnels exist which lead to good egg hiding spots across the globe.
Oh thats going to be a cool photograph point for your neighbors to photo the little ones too. i need my trees to grow bigger faster!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark. Waiting for your trees to grow gives you plenty of time to make decorations for them.
DeleteIf I had trees around my house I would deffently make the Nightmare before Christmas holiday doors. these doors REALY inspire me ^_^
ReplyDeleteHoly Prop Making! I forgot about the Nightmare Before Christmas holiday doors' scene. Those would be fun to recreate... or if you had enough trees to make them all for a Nightmare themed yard at Halloween.
DeleteOh my. This needs SOMEthing carroty..the lamp? the window? the door?
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. So magical.

D5, thanks and very good note. I had also thought about adding carrots as well to really sell it's the Easter Bunny's house. I might swap out the tulips growing in the window box with a carrot garden.
DeleteOH OH OH... I am in love with this one already!!! The carved bun in the door frame and the window box are pure perfection. Looking forward to the reveal(s)!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy, this should be fun. If I get the time I'm hoping to make the carved bunny a series of them circling the door arch.
DeleteThanks Chris, glad you like and welcome!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Ok...so I'm totally stealing your tree idea! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm anxiously awaiting the details for the window/flower box...(hint, hint)...and I thought I might add "E. Bunny" on a mailbox or on a nameplate under the light just in case any of my neighbors was wondering who had taken up residence in my tree.
Thanks for all your wonderful ideas...they totally ROCK!

Hi Dave,
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying your blog and am totally inspired by your creative genius. I may be giving both your Leprechaun and Easter Bunny houses a try. Thanks for taking the time to take photos and posting for us to see. I really appreciate it :0)
