Creative Life Lessons

Making a prop look blood splattered with red paint is easy.
Calming neighbors after you placed it in the sunlight of your front yard to dry, not so easy.

  1. He he he.... you must have some new neighbours. The old ones would just say "Oooh, Dave's starting early this year". :)

  2. Haha!

I get nervous leaving some stuff out.. When I was staining my gibbet post I left the metal cage attached because without it the post resembled a hang mans noose and I didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea!

I thought for sure by now your neighbors would be desensitized to where you could almost get away with having a real bat with blood and them expecting you concocted it out of old paint and some foam core!!

  3. Had a similar problem when I was helping to distress 4th grade bucky skeletons in the garage. We had them hanging on wires while we were staining them and the looks we got from the neighbors walking by were... interesting.

    1. Tiki,

Thanks for the link. I actually worked under Wayne White a long time ago, and learned so much from him. He deserves all the
      appreciation and focus.
