Well, this can be considered my first official countdown to Halloween post. Most of my spare time now will be devoted to this year's display.
A new project in the next couple of weeks will be creating a series of 5 - 8 ghoulish watercolor portraits to frame and hang inside the house. Once done, my plan is to also make them available to order as inexpensive posters and prints in standard frame sizes should anyone want to use in their own decorating this year.
More details soon, but in the meantime here's a sneak preview of one portrait on the drawing board now- Sir Vincent DeGhoul.
Love, love, love this one, as I'm sure everyone that lays eyes on it does!
ReplyDeleteAh, Halloween. My favorite time of year. Vincent is looking good, I can't wait to see him finished.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! I just found out Costco has a relatively cheap option to print on canvas! The plus side is it comes on a stretched frame already and you don't have to pay the insane shipping charges normally associated with shipping stretched canvas paintings! It's free delivery as long as you pick it up at your local Costco photo center!
ReplyDeleteIf you sell some digital files I'd love to try it out! :)
I will be definitely getting some prints! Excited to see the final products.
ReplyDeletehubby said if u put a gap between his 2 front teeth, he'd look like British actor Terry Thomas!

I am definately looking forward to this. I enjoy your style and would love to have some of your pieces to hang in my home.
ReplyDeleteGlad all seem to like this idea. Thanks!
