Raiders' 30th: The Vinyl Soundtrack

On a forgotten lower bookshelf in our home rests several of my fiancee's vinyl albums saved from her youth. While looking at them one day I happily discovered the original Raider's soundtrack. She's a nerd like me, but hides it much better. I love that she kept the cellophane wrapping intact. The sticker on it really takes you back in time.

  1. That is just super cool! Love the note from Mr. Spielberg...don't recall seeing anything like that before on a soundtrack.

    Cheers!

  2. It is a fun blurb from Spielberg isn't it? I like the idea the music came first, then Indy's adventure.

  3. That cover looks great. The Japanese one is not nearly as interesting.
btw, I'm a bit of a techno-tard so I was wondering how I could link to your banner?

  4. Michael, One trick I know for blogger is once you post an image, go to edit HTML for that post, highlight the image's code, then click LINK tab on toolbar. It should bring up box to enter web address you want the image to link to.

  6. I totally had that on vinyl- got it as a gift from my older brother after seeing "Raiders" as a kid and falling in love with it. It got lost over the years after a few out-of-state moves though. I still need to replace it.
