31st Day of Halloween - The Finished Yard Portfolio
Happy Halloween all! Here's what I've been up to the past month.
I hope to retro-post the "how-to" details on some of the props next week. Especially the plexiglass ghosts you see, an idea I had that wasn't sure would work but turned out really well.
gushing. This is a perfect example of what I tried (and eventually they all got it) to teach my kids when it comes to art (and pretty much anything in life)... it's the details, everything can look great, but the difference between great and spectacular is in the details. The Masters are considered such because they looked to the details, like adding a bit of shmuts to the knocker ring to show age and use. Details. LOVE YOU! Congratulations on the amazing set.
Oooh, I can't wait for the "how to" posts. My son has been adding to his yard display every year and I know he will be interested in what you have to share
Wow Dave this look amazing, seriously testing my willpower already to not start anymore big projects for my yard. I especially like the green lighting on the house.
OMG... this is amazing! I can't wait to see the instructions for the ghosts (and everything else really). Beautiful and unique props and design, as always! :D
HI Dave! Fabulous decorating! I simply love everything! Please share how you created the Plexiglas ghost effect!! Is it something easy enough that we could do at home?
Hey Dave, I was wondering how you were able to make those precise cuts on the plexiglass ghosts, do you have a "How-To" or any tips on how you made them?
