Are you dealing with "Yarn Snobs" at work?! Pushing cheap acrylic yarn into the hands of a yarn snob might get your hands bitten off! Don't get me wrong, I'd like to be a yarn snob, but I don't have enough money to be one.
I would not call them "Yarn Snobs". It was a cartoon after all and exaggeration of the moment is called for. They were very wonderfull guests. They were more concerned with "dressing" on the table that might confuse the audience seeing materials not part of their project. It was the way they said it that made me laugh.
Having worked on so many craft shows including Knitty Gritty I have encountered "yarn snobs". There are many "art material snobs" in general. I sense a war coming...sides will be chosen.

ReplyDeleteGah! Yarn snobs! They drive me crazy. I'm with Pam, I wish I could afford to be a snob about it.
